South Mosman Wharf: Route 111 bus temporary changes

From Monday 5 August to Monday 16 September, from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, there will be temporary changes to the Route 111 bus service due to construction work at South Mosman Wharf.

During this six-week period, buses will turn around on Raglan Street at the Musgrave Street intersection on weekdays from 6am-4pm only.

Buses will run their usual route on weekday afternoons, weeknights and throughout the weekend for the duration. Private vehicles will still have full access to Musgrave Street.

Passengers can catch Route 111 bus services towards Military Road from the bus stop on Raglan Street at Musgrave Street (ID 2088154).

School buses will also turn around and allow students to exit at this stop. This means they do not need to cross Raglan Street unattended.

Please note that travel apps may not reflect this temporary change.

South Mosman Wharf is being upgraded to improve accessibility as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program and will be closed to the public for around eight months, weather and site conditions permitting.

During the wharf closure, ferry passengers can use alternative transport options, including:

  • Ferry services from Mosman Bay Wharf.
  • To get to Mosman Bay Wharf, catch the Route 111 bus service to Canrobert Street and change to the Route 230 bus from Avenue Road, a short walk away.
  • 230 bus services can also be used to connect to North Sydney and other destinations.

Please allow extra travel time and plan ahead by using the Trip Planner.
